Geriatric Inpatient Program

Stabilization and the healing process begin in a state-of-the-art safe and therapeutic environment. The unit has been designed to ensure that physical safety and personal dignity and paramount. This new, specialized program recognizes individual potential for behavioral change through education and treatment.

Family and extended family are integral parts of care and are included in all areas of treatment for those who suffer from a psychiatric disorder.

Individuals should meet the following Admissions Criteria:

• Potential danger to self, others or property
• Emotional or adjustment issues
• Impaired reality testing accompanied by disordered behavior and/or affect
• Excessive use of alcohol or other drugs
• Severe and/or incapacitating anxiety and/or depression
